Dual Citizenship Process (Mexican Residency)

  • No additional tax fee when purchasing flights, Vote in Mexico, purchase property, open a bank account, no wait time at airports in Mexico.

  • In order to be eligible for dual citizenship, you must have one parent that was born in Mexico. I scheduled my appointment for first dual citizenship process in Los Angeles and took appropriate documents. I was then scheduled a 2nd appointment, where my dad had to physically sign forms since he was born in Mexico. My dual citizenship birth certificate was ready for pick-up 1 week after, where I then scheduled an additional appointment to receive my Mexican passport.

  • First appointment: No Charge

    Second Appointment: No Charge

3rd Appointment, which was the transmittal of Mexican Passport, I paid $180 for 10 years. There were three other options for pricing, but I chose the most economical one. Note: Please refer to your Mexican consulate office for more information.
